I tasted my first ever EGGNOG at PULLMAN KUCHING


 

Yes, I did.  Seriously delicious.

My greatest thanks to dear fren, Jacqueline Chong and Miss Ai Fern of Pullman Kuching. I was invited to attend the Pullman Kuching's magnificient Christmas Tree Light Up ceremony last Friday, 5 December 2014.  The ceremony marked the beginning of Pullman annual Christmas celebration.
The event started with a welcoming speech by Mr. Felix Yeo, the General Manager of Pullman Kuching. 


The guests were then presented with a special Christmas caroling by the members from Holy Trinity Church.
The Christmas tree located at the Hotel Lobby was lighted-up by Santa and Santarinas who marched into the hotel lobby, witnessed by some 40 children from Rumah Kanak-kanak and Salvation Army, and also hotel guests.  
 
Other than receiving Christmas presents and treated to a special Christmas Buffet, the children also handmade gingerbread men guided by Chef Koay. 

Cheerful and smiley faces, outfits with colorful buttons, different type of gingerbread men came alive as children unleashed their creativity in this memorable gingerbread making.  Members of the public are invited to donate for these unique handmade gingerbread men, which will be displayed inside the giant Gingerbread House located next to the Christmas tree until December 25, 2014.
 

 
 
The Gingerbread House, all made from real edible gingerbread is another highlight of Pullman Kuching's festivity this year, serves as a festive booth where guests can purchase Christmas goodies and pre-order their Christmas takeaway.  

The Christmas takeaway include Traditional turkey in Western flavour and Asian turkey in traditional Teo Chew flavour - new signature dishes from Executive Chef Koay at RM388+ per turkey.  Other than that, you can choose either Australian Roasted Rib Eye (RM350+), slow roasted leg of lamb stubbed with garlic and rosemary (RM288+ per leg) or honey and clove glazed meat loaf (RM188+).

Christmas Eve and New Year Eve buffet dinner is priced at RM128+ per person.  Christmas Day brunch/New Year day brunch is priced at RM79+ per person, while Christmas Day/New Year Day buffet dinner is available at RM98+ per person.  All Christmas food and all festive buffet on top of other international dishes and local favourite.

All guests were then treated to a special dinner buffet at the Puszle.
