my part time lover of ten years...

UiTM was my part time lover for 10 years. I did my Diploma and Bachelor in Accountancy here. part time. they called it 'kursus luar kampus' or 'klk' before. lectures would always be 2 or 3 times a week (depend on the number of subject taken), starting from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. i think they do still have that now. i started in mid 1990, one year after i got a job in a federal department. graduated in my diploma in 1995. started my bachelor right after that and finished in Jun 2000. i joined my current employer in sept 2000 with that scroll.... he he he when we first started, UiTM was still in Semariang. Semariang before was not as crowded as it is now. imagine we had to drive through the dark road and passed by tanah pekuburuan...
i cant recall when exactly that we moved to Kota Samarahan. and it was a long and dark journey to this area before. i continued my klk in shah alam campus when i was transferred to shah alam for 2 years, 1996 - 1998. sweet and bitter memories. i remembered taking the bus mini from kompleks PKNS to UiTM.... he he he..

and masa bulan puasa, makan dekat tasik depan kompleks before going to lectures. wasehhhh... bukan main jelingan org tengok kita makan time tu. kita buat dek jer!!!

when i was studying in shah alam, 2 of our lecturers were from India... one was Mr. Chacko, taught us Business Law. when we were sitting for our progress test, mr. chacko would say........ 'u may look up and down for inspiration, but not to your left and right'. and he ever said that those who sleep in his class would always be the one who scored highest.... true enough, a guy who always sleep in class always scored.....

the other one i dont remember his name, a prof and he taught us research method. the funny thing was.... his notes were written in urdu... and i scored A- for his subject.. he he
this is UiTM Kota Samarahan now. getting bigger and beautiful. a lot of purple theme...
i thought of doing my master but..... i dont know
still dont have the 'urge' to do so
anyway, learning is a life time process!!
what say you?
